Dear Mother!!
This week was a really busy one!! As usual!! It was a really good week though because I was able to work with Elder Rennie again!! (Brad's trainer who he loves!!) I was super excited! He is still so awesome and great to be around. President Jackson went to a meeting in South Africa with the area presidency, so the AP's spent the weekend with us here in the Jinja zone. They stayed from Friday to Sunday! It was super fun! We actually had a big activity this week here in Njeru. All day Friday and all day Saturday we invited everyone we could to come to a special fireside on Saturday night. We spent the whole two days contacting as many people as we could. I was so tired after these few days! But the fireside was so good! We had branch missionaries there and we had a big sign on the street and we were pulling people in all evening. It was kind of an open house thing. We even had alot of refreshments!! Awesome!! But we worked on this all week, and it was a huge success. The missionaries in the other area were having some problems finding more people and getting them to commit to things, but we were able to help them out so much! On Sunday we had 80 people come to church, 25 of which were investigators!! 12 of which we contacted and found during the activity! It was a huge success! We had a great time with the Assistants to the president doing this as well, it was so great! On Friday though, Elder Rennie and I went to Iganga to help them out with all the baptism interviews that they had. They had a total of 12 interviews, but only 8 passed, for various reasons, but the others will be baptized soon! So total in the zone, we had 13 baptisms on Sunday! It was an all time high for Jinja Zone!! The work here is really progressing, it is amazing. This week is shaping up to be another HUGE week, as our missionaries are working so hard! We are so proud of them! There is only one thing, our area has suffered because we have been occupying our time with helping the zone. We had a hard time balancing our time this week, and it was sad to see only 8 of our investigators come to church, and the ones who were suppose to be baptized this week did not come. But we had 4 new investigators come, which was so awesome! We have alot of work to do to make up for the time we lost last week. But it is all good! No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing!! :)
So ya that was my week! Super cool!! We are having our zone activity today and it is in Walukuba, we are just playing sports and having a barbecue!! It is going to be so fun!
Thank you so much for sending the pictures!! The outside of the house looks old, but the inside is so nice! I was surprised!! haha :P It is really good though!! Congratulations!!
I emailed keith, hayden and jeff, it is so good to hear from them all!! Trent is doing good too by the way, same with Zac :)
Well,. love you so much!! Talk to you next week~!!
